ATM’s have made our life easy, no more long queues at a bank branch to withdraw money, nor do we have to abide by the timing of a branch and can withdraw money at any time. Like all electronics they can work only when they are feed with power, but what happens when a power cut happens, well I had the first hand experience of this today. On a lazy, rainy saturday evening before heading home I went to the nearest ICICI bank ATM to draw some money....

If you have been to Bangalore and had a look around you will see a peculiar flag (half yellow and half red colour) on the roof tops of all the big buildings. Almost everyone who comes to Bangalore will have a question what is this flag, and most of them think it is the Karnataka Flag. FM radio has taken the fancy of almost everyone, with music available 24x7, it is easy to get plug in your earphones and listen to the songs and the blabbering of the RJ’s. If you go anywhere in Bangalore you will see people listening to radio, not just people walking in streets, but those inside shops, buses and where ever you can imagine. There are currently 10+ FM radio channels in Bangalore which offer music in English, Hindi and of course the local language Kannada....

All of us have at some point of time have had an experience which would have touched our hearts and would stay in our memories for years to come. I personally was a viewer to one such event, a couple of weeks back. It was Sunday evening and I was walking about in Jayanagar exploring the various cross roads. I came across a small park and I decided to give my legs a short break and sat on the bench near the kids play area....

Couple of years back on a Sunday evening I was sitting in the BSK IInd stage park relaxing and observing the variety of people coming in and out. Suddenly a thin and untidy looking man came up to me and started begging for a single Idli saying he had not had food for a day or so and was feeling very hungry, but by looking at him I could make out he was a bit drunk....
